Wireless Drone Link with 150km+ range - JP EX

Picture

JP-EX is a bi-directional, long range video and data link for Drones and UAVs with 150km+ range.

1080p or 4K video with HDMI or SDI and bidirectional data. 2x Ethernet, 2X high speed serial. Available in bands (UHF*, 900MHz*, 2400Mhz and 5Ghz) 500mW to 30W output for 150km+ LOS range.
*Data throughput is limited to 6mbps on UHF/900MHz

JP-EX was designed with drone manufacturers and operators in mind. Compact size, coupled with bi-directional high-speed data, long range, in an easy to use package. Dedicated up and down COFDM link providing stable transmission even at 300km/h.

JPE-EX is based on a proprietary implementation of TDD/FDD COFDM protocol, making it exceptionally well suited for mobile robotics, industrial and surveillance applications in challenging environments, while requiring virtually no setup and extra testing equipment.

Operating in the 700-950MHz, 1.3-1.4GHz and 2.4GHz frequency bands with a 500mW to 5W, or optional 30W of output power, JP-EX is capable of creating wireless networks well in excess of 150KM with maximum throughput of 30MBPS.
(Custom frequencies are available on request)

COFDM in a nutshell
COFDM (Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) video transmission technology is widely used in the transmission of video signals from bomb disposal robots to their operators. COFDM is a highly reliable method of transmitting high-quality video signals over a long range, making it ideal for use in hazardous environments such as bomb disposal scenarios. COFDM allows the robot to transmit real-time video feed to the operator, providing them with a clear view of the situation and helping them to make informed decisions.
COFDM is also highly resistant to signal interference and distortion, which is essential in bomb disposal scenarios where the transmission of video signals may be disrupted by external factors such as building structures, electromagnetic radiation, or other sources of interference. With COFDM, the robot can transmit video signals over a long distance without experiencing significant signal loss, making it easier for the operator to control the robot and respond to the situation effectively.
In addition to its reliability and resistance to interference, COFDM also allows for encryption and decryption of video signals. This feature is crucial in bomb disposal scenarios, as it ensures that sensitive information is not intercepted by unauthorized individuals. By encrypting the video signals, operators can transmit sensitive information securely and ensure that it remains confidential, further enhancing the safety and security of bomb disposal operations. Overall, COFDM video transmission technology plays a crucial role in bomb disposal robots by providing reliable, secure, and high-quality video signals that allow operators to carry out their tasks safely and effectively.
