JPE-L LTE Base Station for private networks
The JPE-L is a robust and weather-resistant 4G LTE Base Station that boasts exceptional dependability, enabling cellular connectivity in remote areas that are difficult to access. It is suitable for use in a variety of industries, including first responders, rail, utilities, manufacturing, and rural internet connectivity. The Base Station can function as a standalone LTE network or transmit voice and data traffic to larger networks. With the ability to serve up to 64 active users at a maximum download data rate of 150Mb/s, the Base Station delivers reliable, high-speed, and secure 4G LTE connectivity for distances up to 15 kilometres. The energy-efficient Base Station is IP67 rated and can be powered by renewable power sources like solar and wind, making it an ideal solution for areas with limited or no power infrastructure. The Base Station is compatible with a variety of cellular network bands, including non-standard 3GPP frequencies for private LTE Networks, as well as license-free ISP bands. In addition to usability as a stationary LTE base station, JPE-L is available in light weight format, designed to be lifted by a drone for mobile and emergency applications.

Police and first responders can benefit from private LTE networks in many ways, especially in rural communities where there is limited or no existing infrastructure. Some potential benefits:
- Improved Communication: A private LTE network can provide first responders with reliable, high-speed, and secure communication channels, enabling them to communicate and coordinate more effectively during emergency situations. This can include voice, video, and data transmission, allowing for real-time situational awareness and faster decision-making.
- Increased Coverage: Private LTE networks can provide coverage in areas where there is no or limited cellular coverage. This can be particularly important in rural communities where there may be large distances to cover, and traditional cellular networks may not be available.
- Greater Control: Private LTE networks allow first responders to have greater control over their communication infrastructure. They can prioritize communication traffic during emergencies, allocate bandwidth for specific applications, and ensure that critical communications are not affected by congestion or other issues.
- Enhanced Security: Private LTE networks can be designed with robust security features to protect sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access. This can be particularly important for first responders who may be transmitting sensitive data during emergency situations.
- Cost Savings: A private LTE network can be more cost-effective than relying on commercial cellular networks, especially in remote areas where commercial infrastructure may not be available. By deploying their own private LTE network, police and first responders can avoid expensive subscription fees and benefit from greater flexibility and control over their communication infrastructure.
